Pre-purchase Examination

What does the pre-purchase test consist of?
Our aim is to provide a comprehensive assessment of the horse's state of health to identify possible injuries, pathologies or conditions that may affect its performance or longevity. The examinations are carried out in accordance with the standards set by recognised organisations such as AVEE (Association of Equine Practitioners) and BEVA (British Equine Veterinary Association).
Examination process:
- Direct digital radiography to evaluate bone structures.
- High-resolution soft tissue Doppler ultrasound.
- Upper airway endoscopy to detect possible respiratory pathologies.
- Blood tests.
- Electrocardiograms.
- Specific tests for doping detection and international export.
- Other advanced tests, such as scintigraphy and magnetic resonance imaging, in collaboration with specialised equine veterinary hospitals.
